2017 Cystic Fibrosis Walk Dear Family and Friends,
Hope Spring is starting off great for you! It’s been an exceptionally great one here in Florida.
The past couple of months have been really fun for me. I got a new puppy for Christmas. Her name is Jiyta, after Derek Jeter of course. She is a beagle/Deutschland mix. She is the sweetest, cutest little girl ever. I am loving having her. I am borderline that annoying puppy mom but I am trying to make sure she has good manners.
I continue to love my job at lululemon. I feel so lucky to be working for such a great company. This past March they sent me to The World Happiness Summit in Miami. I had such a fantastic time meeting people from my company from all over the world and meeting our CEO. In addition, I got to do yoga everyday and listen to many prominent people in the field of positive psychology. It was really a wonderful experience. I also got to take a trip to see Jay in San Diego. He has a fantastic apartment in Encinitas. We enjoyed the wonderful weather in San Diego with a few yoga events. Jay was a good sport and a great tour guide. Let’s just say I wouldn’t be against moving out there one day!
Unfortunately, with all the weddings, traveling and more responsibility at work this year, I can’t make it home for the walk this year. I will truly miss seeing you all and having our annual BBQ. With no walk and no booze cruise I am going through serious withdrawal from my supporters. I promise we will have a great event again soon. I am still going to try to raise a bunch of money this year though as my parents will still be walking on May 21, 2017 in Tarrytown, NY. They would love for anybody to join them and then head out for a brunch afterwards.
Thank you so much for your continued support. I definitely feel the support all year round. I hope everyone continues to do well and I’ll see you soon!
